Save Simon
Simon is a beautiful 9 year old little Shih Tzu that had a very bad day. He got in a fight with his foster brother, and is currently at the PET ER. His foster brother was much bigger than him so he was hurt pretty bad.
He has a fractured skull and his eye was punctured. The staff at East End Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center in doing everything they can to keep him comfortable while they work to relieve the pressure on his eye from the swelling caused by the broken bones. He has a small puncture wound in the bottom of his eye that is draining well. He has deep punctures around the entire eye socket that are being treated. They will do everything they can to save his eye. He is in the best of hands.Guardians of Rescue is determined to make sure he gets the care he needs. We need your help... When fosters come in to rescue, most of the time they have had a pretty hard life. Simon's foster brother is no exception to that unfortunate truth. There is a lot of misinformation in regards to why dogs fight. In this situation, Simon's foster brother was scared and anxious, and Simon approached him in a way where he felt threatened. Simon's foster brother is not a mean dog, he's just scared, and we are going to help his foster mom find him a better place to lean to be more balanced, so Simon can focus on healing once he gets out of the hospital.Together We Save Them...
